Bella Hadid Shares Heartbreaking Picture Of Her “Childhood Bedroom” Ablaze

January 11, 2025: The recent wildfires in Los Angeles have caused widespread devastation, with prominent figures like supermodel Bella Hadid and singer Dua Lipa sharing their personal experiences of the tragedy.

Bella Hadid, who lost her childhood home in Malibu to the flames, took to Instagram to express her sorrow. She shared a picture of her former home engulfed in smoke and flames, captioning one image with “Childhood bedroom,” marking a deeply emotional moment for her and her family. The home, once owned by her mother, Yolanda Hadid, held significant sentimental value for the model.

Dua Lipa also addressed the crisis, describing the past few days in LA as “absolutely devastating” and “scary.” She expressed concern for friends and residents forced to evacuate their homes, and shared her gratitude for being safe. The singer mentioned that she would provide links for donations to shelters housing displaced people, showing solidarity with those affected by the disaster.

The wildfires have claimed at least six lives and forced nearly 180,000 people to evacuate their homes. The Palisades Fire, one of the largest, has burned over 17,000 acres and destroyed around 1,000 buildings. As of now, it remains uncontained, making it one of the most catastrophic fires in Los Angeles history.

In response to the calamity, US President Joe Biden announced that the federal government would cover the costs of protective measures for Southern California for the next six months, deploying significant resources, including firefighters and military personnel, to contain the fires and safeguard communities. His administration’s support is aimed at assisting in both the immediate crisis and the longer-term recovery.

The wildfires’ far-reaching impact has affected countless lives, with many still dealing with the aftermath as the situation continues to evolve. The outpouring of support from celebrities like Hadid and Lipa reflects the widespread sense of concern and solidarity in the face of this crisis.
