At the premiere of The Accountant 2, Ben Affleck shares heartfelt words about J.Lo, their blended family, and how their bond remains strong despite their divorce.
Los Angeles | April 17, 2025 – Ben Affleck has broken his silence on ex-wife Jennifer Lopez with a rare and touching tribute to the pop icon, just months after finalizing their divorce.
Attending the red-carpet premiere of The Accountant 2 in Los Angeles, the Oscar-winning actor opened up about their blended family, calling Lopez “spectacular” and praising her ongoing relationship with his children.

“Jennifer Lopez is spectacular, great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them,” Affleck told Entertainment Tonight. “She is enormously important, a tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to.”
💕 A Blended Family That Still Stands Strong
Affleck, 52, co-parents his three children—Violet (19), Seraphina (16), and Samuel (13)—with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Lopez, 55, is mom to 17-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Despite the couple’s split, Affleck shared how joyful it was to have all their children support him at the premiere:
“That’s the kind of thing where the relationship that you have with children like that is a joy in my life,” he said. “Those kids are amazing and I’m glad that this is a movie they want to come to.”
He added, “I love when all the kids come out.”

Affleck and Lopez tied the knot in 2022, nearly two decades after their first engagement ended. They quietly finalized their divorce in January 2025, but sources say they’ve remained amicable for the sake of their children.
