
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain Star Aasif Sheikh Collapses on Set During Shoot, Rushed for Treatment
March 25, 2025: Popular television actor Aasif Sheikh, known for his iconic role as Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, reportedly collapsed during the shooting of a high-intensity scene in Dehradun on March 24. The 59-year-old actor was immediately rushed to a local hospital and later flown to Mumbai for advanced medical care.
According to reports by Times Now Navbharat and Zoom, Aasif was filming a dramatic fight sequence when he suddenly fell ill and lost consciousness on set. Medical personnel on standby administered first aid, following which he was taken to a hospital nearby. A source told The Indian Express, “He fainted on the sets due to exhaustion and is doing fine now. He was quickly rushed to the doctor for proper medical attention.”
Another insider confirmed to Zoom Entertainment that the actor was flown to Mumbai the same day for further observation and treatment. “The shoot was intense and physically demanding. During one of the action scenes, Aasif felt unwell and collapsed,” the source added.

As of now, no official statement has been released by the actor’s family or the production team of the show. Fans are hoping for a speedy recovery for the actor, who has been a beloved face in Indian television for decades.
Aasif Sheikh has been a household name in Indian television and cinema for over three decades. Apart from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, he has starred in notable TV shows like Hum Log, Yes Boss, Gul Sanobar, and Don’t Worry Chachu. In films, his performances in Karan Arjun, Ek Phool Teen Kaante, and Haseena Maan Jaayegi have been well-received.
