January 22, 2025: Actress Bhagyashree arrived in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, to attend the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela and expressed her excitement about the event. She shared her joy about visiting the city with her family, saying, “We are very excited, have come with the whole family. We would like to see what preparations have been made in Maha Kumbh.”
Bhagyashree also praised the government’s arrangements, acknowledging the efforts made by the administration. She said, “The administration has made so many facilities. We will see that and take a holy bath in the River Ganga… The Maha Kumbh has been our tradition for a long time. The government has done good work, and that is attracting a lot of people from across the globe.”
Despite the cold weather, a large number of devotees gathered at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Wednesday to take part in the sacred ritual of dipping in the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati rivers. As of today, around 8.81 crore people have already participated in this spiritual tradition.
The ongoing Maha Kumbh also saw the performance of the morning Aarti at the Ghats on Wednesday. Additionally, a new double-decker bus restaurant, called ‘Pumpkin,’ was inaugurated in the Maha Kumbh city on Monday. The restaurant features a kitchen on the ground floor and a dining area on the first floor, providing a unique experience for people with a seating capacity of 25, serving pure vegetarian cuisine.
In a significant moment, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam during the Maha Kumbh, accompanied by Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, and other cabinet ministers. The CM was seen offering thanks to God as they all participated in the spiritual occasion.
