November 18, 2024: Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 continues its stellar run at the box office, achieving a significant milestone by crossing the ₹250 crore mark on its 17th day. After a strong second week, the film maintained its momentum over the third weekend, bolstered by the Guru Nanak Jayanti holiday and excellent occupancy on Sunday.
On Sunday, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 began with an encouraging morning occupancy of 16%, which rose sharply to 39% in the afternoon and peaked at 48% during the evening shows. Despite a slight decline during the night screenings, the film is estimated to have earned between ₹6.60-₹6.80 crore on day 17, following ₹5.65 crore on Saturday.
The cumulative box office collection of the film now stands between ₹251.63 crore and ₹251.83 crore, officially making it Kartik Aaryan’s first-ever ₹250 crore grosser.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 faced tough competition from Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, another Diwali blockbuster dominating the screens. Despite this, the comedy-horror sequel has carved its niche, becoming a significant hit and boosting Kartik’s standing as a bankable star.
With this remarkable performance, the film’s makers are already eyeing the future. Work on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 is expected to begin soon, given the franchise’s immense popularity and Kartik Aaryan’s rising star power.
As Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 enters its fourth week, all eyes will be on whether it can continue to hold its ground and inch closer to the ₹300 crore club.
