‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ Director Anees Bazmee Expresses Excitement Stating, “We have Pushed The Boundaries” Ahead Of Trailer Launch

October 9, 2024: Filmmaker Anees Bazmee is all set for the release of his next film, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,’ following the immense success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

The highly anticipated film, a blend of psychological horror and comedy, is generating buzz with the release of its teaser and poster. As the team gears up for the trailer launch at an event in Jaipur, Bazmee shared his excitement, saying “‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is a project very close to my heart. We have pushed the boundaries of the horror-comedy genre to bring something fresh and entertaining,” .

The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, Rajpal Yadav, and Rajesh Sharma. Bazmee praised his cast and crew for their hard work and dedication, expressing gratitude for the pleasure of collaborating with such talent. Despite facing a leg injury just before filming, the director continued shooting to meet the Diwali 2024 release date, demonstrating his commitment to the project.

Vidya Balan‘s return as the iconic character Manjulika, which she portrayed in the 2007 blockbuster, has fans excited. The teaser opens with the haunting melody of “Ami Je Tomar,” hinting at her dramatic comeback. It pays homage to some of the original film’s most chilling moments, as Manjulika is seen lifting a heavy chair, reminiscent of her terrifying bed-lifting scene in the first film.

Kartik Aaryan’s character, Rooh Baba, also makes a powerful entrance, questioning, “Kya laga tha kahani khatam hogayi?” The teaser showcases the looming confrontation between Rooh Baba and an enraged Manjulika, setting the stage for a thrilling face-off. Aaryan’s Instagram post, “Rooh Baba Vs Manjulika…Iss Diwali #BhoolBhulaiyaa3,” has only added to the mounting excitement.

The film, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Murad Khetani, promises to deliver the franchise’s signature mix of spine-chilling horror and laugh-out-loud comedy. With Diwali 2024 as the release window, fans can expect a thrilling, festive treat that will bring both nostalgia and new surprises.
