
Bhumi Pednekar Begins Filming 'Daldal'
Actor Bhumi Pednekar has started shooting for her new series ‘Daldal,’ in which she plays a cop. She announced the shoot’s commencement on Instagram, sharing a picture from the first day on set and captioning it, “The past never stays buried for long. Rita’s journey with Daldal commences from today.”
Directed by Amrit Raj Gupta and based on Vish Dhamija’s ‘Bhendi Bazaar,’ the show promises to present Bhumi in a new and challenging role. Bhumi shared, “Daldal is the perfect project for me to show a completely new side to my acting performance. I play a woman who has shattered the glass ceiling by being appointed as the DCP of Mumbai. She is a super achiever in a man’s world.”
Expressing her excitement about working with producer Vikram Malhotra and director Suresh Triveni, Bhumi said, “I’m delighted to be working with such talented individuals again. I hope we can create another blockbuster for Amazon Prime Video.”
