In the video, originally posted on Reddit, Bhumi is seen during a panel conversation with actors Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana, hosted by Anupama Chopra.
Addressing a bizarre comment she once received, Bhumi said:
“You know the most bizarre thing that somebody actually told me was that ‘your lips are too big’. I said, since when is that a problem? I mean, people pay in lakhs to get that done… They can say the most bizarre things. You should just be aware of what you are and not care.”
The actors were discussing the odd criticisms they faced in the early days of their careers. While Ayushmann and Rajkummar recalled getting feedback about their eyebrows, Bhumi’s reply stood out for its poise and confidence — a sentiment that many fans are now applauding amid renewed trolling.
