Accused of “Torture” and “Harassment,” Filmmaker Yet to Respond
Renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli, celebrated for his cinematic masterpieces like Baahubali and RRR, has found himself at the center of a controversy. A man named Srinivasa Rao, claiming to be a 34-year-long friend of the director, has made shocking allegations, accusing Rajamouli of ruining his career and causing him severe distress.

The Allegations
In a selfie-video and a letter shared publicly, Srinivasa Rao alleged that his friendship with Rajamouli soured after they both developed feelings for the same woman. He claimed that he stepped away from the situation for the sake of their friendship, only for Rajamouli to later turn against him.
- “I have no option but to die by suicide. Rajamouli is the reason I am still single at 55,” Srinivasa Rao declared in his video.
- He further claimed that they worked together until the 2007 film Yamadonga but Rajamouli allegedly sabotaged his career afterward.
- The accuser also stated that after Rajamouli achieved superstardom, he began doubting his loyalty and subjected him to harassment.

A Call for Investigation
Srinivasa Rao has demanded a police investigation, urging authorities to conduct a lie detector test on Rajamouli. In a more bizarre claim, he also accused the filmmaker of using black magic to suppress industry rivals.

- “I am 55 now and I can no longer endure this harassment,” he stated.
- “I request the police officials to inquire into this matter and do justice to me.”
SS Rajamouli’s Silence
SS Rajamouli and his team have yet to issue an official response to these allegations. The filmmaker is currently immersed in the production of SSMB29, a much-anticipated project starring Mahesh Babu. Reports also suggest Priyanka Chopra may be part of the film, though an official confirmation is awaited.
