Bigg Boss 18: Salman Confronts Ashneer Grover Says 'Main Aapko Janta Bhi Nahi Tha'-Watch
November 18, 2024: The November 17 episode of Bigg Boss 18 turned out to be a drama-filled night, with Salman Khan confronting Shark Tank India fame Ashneer Grover over controversial comments made about the actor. While there were heated exchanges between contestants Karan Veer Mehra and Shilpa Shirodkar, it was Salman’s interaction with Ashneer that became the episode’s highlight.
Salman Khan addressed Ashneer Grover’s statements from a past podcast where Grover claimed to have negotiated Salman’s fee as a brand ambassador for his venture. The former Shark Tank India judge had allegedly mentioned that he successfully brought down Salman’s team’s asking price from ₹7.5 crore to ₹4.5 crore.
Addressing the claims on stage, Salman Khan said, “Mai toh aapko jaanta bhi nahi tha (I didn’t even know you).” He also added, “Jis hisaab se ab aap baat kar rahe hai, voh joh maine aapka video dekha hai, yeh aapka attitude voh wahan par nahi tha (The way you are talking now, your attitude in that video was completely different).”
Ashneer, visibly cornered, clarified that his words might have been taken out of context, and admitted to still learning how to navigate such situations. Salman, however, pointed out that overconfidence might have played a role. In response, Ashneer said, “Ab shaant rahunga (I’ll stay quiet now).”
The controversy started when Ashneer Grover, during a high-profile event, announced plans to sign Salman Khan as a brand ambassador for his company. He claimed that having Salman onboard would boost investor confidence and elevate his venture’s credibility. However, Salman’s public dismissal of the claims has put Grover in a tough spot.
Apart from this fiery confrontation, the episode had some heartwarming moments as well. Sandiip Sikcand and Eisha Singh’s mother made a special appearance, and Salman announced that no contestant would face eviction this week.
With tensions rising and dramatic confrontations unfolding, Bigg Boss 18 continues to keep viewers hooked.
