Bigg Boss 18 Winner Karan Veer Mehra Gives Prize Money Spending Update-Deets Inside
March 9, 2025: Life has taken a dramatic turn for actor Karan Veer Mehra ever since he emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 18. With newfound fame, constant media scrutiny, and a flood of new opportunities, Karan is embracing his post-Bigg Boss journey with positivity.
The actor recently spoke about his bond with fellow contestants, the status of his prize money, and the speculation around his personal life in an exclusive chat with Hindustan Times.
Karan, who lifted the Bigg Boss 18 trophy in January 2025, has been receiving overwhelming love from fans.

“Life has changed a lot. After Bigg Boss 18, I have an amazing fan-mily. Their love and support feel like a personal win for them too. It’s heartwarming to see their excitement whenever they meet me,” he shared.
Despite receiving some online negativity, Karan remains unaffected.
“I am negativity-proof. I can’t change people’s thoughts, but I focus on my work and fitness, which keeps me stable and positive.”
While Karan was awarded a ₹50 lakh cash prize, he revealed last month that he had yet to receive the funds. Addressing the delay, he said:
“The process is in place, but for me, the love and support I have received are far bigger than any prize award. I am extremely thankful and overwhelmed.”
Karan is currently flooded with offers post-Bigg Boss 18 but is taking his time to choose the right project.
“My next step is crucial. I want to surprise my fans with something big… so wait and watch!”
Karan’s close friendship with Bigg Boss co-contestant Chum Darang has sparked romantic speculation, while rumors of a rivalry with Vivian Dsena intensified after Vivian’s wife, Nouran Aly, excluded Karan from their party.
However, Karan insists that he shares a cordial bond with all contestants and even remains in touch with them via a Bigg Boss 18 WhatsApp group.
On his equation with Chum Darang, he clarified:
“Speculation is speculation. Right now, we are both occupied with work and future commitments.”
Recently, Karan visited Delhi to launch an Anytime Fitness center in Greater Noida, a city that holds a special place in his heart.
“I was born and brought up in Delhi, so visiting here always feels like coming home. I may live in Mumbai now, but Delhi remains in my heart.”
