Bigg Boss 19: Abhishek Bajaj Responds To Allegations Of Age-Shaming Kunickaa Sadanand

Evicted Bigg Boss 19 contestant Abhishek Bajaj has clarified his controversial ‘grandmother’ remark towards Kunickaa Sadanand, claiming the actress was the ‘dirtiest player’ who frequently “crossed lines” by dragging his mother into their arguments.

November 11, 2025: Fresh off his elimination from the Bigg Boss 19 house, television actor Abhishek Bajaj has hit back at accusations of age-shaming co-contestant Kunickaa Sadanand, insisting that his repeated references to her as ‘grandmother’ were a reaction to her provocations.

Bajaj, who was evicted after stand-up comedian Pranit More used his power to save Ashnoor Kaur, opened up about his volatile equation with the veteran actress in an interview with SCREEN.

Clash Over ‘Age Card’ and Personal Remarks

The core of the feud between Bajaj and Sadanand stemmed from conflicts over kitchen duties, nominations, and personal remarks. Bajaj admitted to singing the song “Dadi Amma Dadi Amma Maan Jao” during one of their fights, an act which was later criticized by host Salman Khan on Weekend Ka Vaar.

However, Bajaj clarified his intent, stating that he never meant to insult her age.

Abhishek Bajaj (Speaking to SCREEN): “She shouldn’t have said the things she did about my mother. She often crossed lines and played the age card and the woman card. I come from a family where we were taught to respect elders, and I was trying to be respectful. I never age-shamed her. I don’t think calling anyone a grandmother is an insult.”

The actor further alleged that Sadanand used inappropriate and personal language during their arguments, including cursing him and dragging his mother into their disputes. He claimed that Sadanand was deliberately antagonistic, especially towards him and Ashnoor Kaur.

Calls Kunickaa the ‘Dirtiest Player’

Bajaj did not hold back in his assessment of his former housemate’s game, labeling her as the most manipulative player in the house.

Abhishek Bajaj: “A lot of the things she said about me and Ashnoor were unnecessary. I feel Kunickaa is playing the dirtiest game; it is very evident… Farrhana is blunt and out there. She will fight on your face, but won’t say anything behind your back.”

His eviction came alongside fellow contestant Neelam Giri, a result that many social media users have since called a “scripted move” by the makers. With the finale expected in a month, the remaining contestants, including Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Malik, and Kunickaa Sadanand, will now battle for the season 19 trophy.
