In a candid moment inside the Bigg Boss 19 house, music composer Amaal Mallik has confessed to having a schoolboy crush on actress Shraddha Kapoor. He also opened up about his recent struggles with depression and a “serious” breakup.
August 27, 2025: Amaal Mallik, a participant on the reality show Bigg Boss 19, has made a number of shocking statements that are generating news. Amaal said in a video that has gone viral on social media that his school sweetheart was none other than Bollywood starlet Shraddha Kapoor.
Amaal talked about the actress with affection when talking to her fellow contenders Gaurav Khanna, Kunickaa Sadanand, and Nagma Mirajkar. “Shraddha used to wear dentures to school too. She was my senior.” He remarked, “She was my crush in school and a very sweet person.”
Amaal then praised Shraddha for being real and popular, pointing out that her huge social media following is all natural. “That girl has the most real followers on the whole internet, without doing anything.” He went on to say, “No fake followers or anything.” He also praised her career path, saying that her powerful performances in movies like Aashiqui 2 and the praise she got for a scene in Stree 2 made her one of Bollywood’s biggest stars.
Amaal talked about a different part of his life in a separate, more emotional session with his housemate Zeishan Quadri. He said he had just gone through a “serious” breakup and was depressed before coming to the residence. He said that he had even stopped talking to his relatives.
“I posted something, and it went popular on the internet. He was in a lot of depression. “I cut ties with my family,” Amaal stated. He also said that he thinks his public troubles might be why he was asked to participate on the show. The tweet he talked about came after a big fight with his mom, which made him say that anything he stated on Twitter was just his opinion and not to include his family.
People are quickly falling in love with Amaal on the show because he is so honest and real. He is known for hit songs like “Jab Tak” and “Kar Gayi Chull.”
