Bigg Boss 19: Influencer Faizan Ansari Files Complaint Against Tanya Mittal Over 'Bizarre' Claims
Influencer Faizan Ansari files a formal complaint in Gwalior, alleging the Bigg Boss 19 contestant’s lavish claims are misleading, and demanding her immediate arrest for ‘tarnishing the city’s reputation.’
October 16, 2025: Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal has landed in legal trouble outside the house, after social media influencer Faizan Ansari filed a formal complaint against her in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The complaint alleges that Mittal is tarnishing the city’s reputation by making continuous, “exaggerated and misleading” claims about her opulent lifestyle on national television.
Faizan Ansari, an influencer known for filing complaints against several celebrities, submitted a written complaint to the Divisional Commissioner’s office on Tuesday, demanding an FIR and immediate arrest of the contestant.
Ansari’s complaint centers on Tanya Mittal’s televised statements regarding her wealth and property, which he asserts are fabricated to gain sympathy and publicity. He specifically alleged that Mittal’s behaviour is “degrading the name of the influencer community” and bringing disrepute to Gwalior by creating a misleading image of the city.
In a more serious accusation, Ansari claimed that Tanya Mittal had allegedly trapped her former boyfriend, fellow influencer Balraj, in false legal cases, which led to his imprisonment. Balraj, a YouTuber and politician, had previously publicly accused Mittal of being “fake” and exaggerating her life.
Tanya Mittal has been one of the most talked-about contestants this season, largely due to her bizarre and extravagant claims. The influencer, who initially gained popularity for her efforts during the Kumbh Mela stampede, has repeatedly boasted about her elite status inside the Bigg Boss house:
These claims have become fodder for memes and online criticism, with host Salman Khan also recently slamming her for her “weak gameplay” on the show. Faizan Ansari, who has previously filed complaints against figures like Poonam Pandey, Rakhi Sawant, and Elvish Yadav, is pushing for immediate legal action against the currently locked-in contestant. The authorities in Gwalior have yet to comment on the formal registration of the FIR or the issuance of an arrest warrant.
