The premiere of Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, has made a sensational debut on JioCinema, setting new viewership benchmarks and becoming the most-watched reality show launch on an OTT platform in India.
August 29, 2025: With its new season, Bigg Boss, India’s most popular reality program, has set a new record for an OTT premiere. EndemolShine made Bigg Boss Season 19, which premiered on August 24. According to JioStar, this was the brand’s best Day 1 result on a digital platform so far.
The first episode, hosted by superstar Salman Khan, earned 2.4 times as many views and 2.3 times as many people watched it on JioCinema as the last season. At its best, the live debut attracted almost twice as many people. This is a big sign that the show is very popular and that more and more reality shows are starting on the web.
Bigg Boss 19 got the best start on OTT of any season in the show’s long history in India.There are a lot of different guests on the show, like actors, musicians, and famous people on social media.
