Bigg Boss 19 champion Gaurav Khanna has formally addressed the criticism from runner-up Farrhana Bhatt, dismissing her claims that he was an “undeserving” winner.
December 18, 2025: In a recent interview, Gaurav was asked about Farrhana’s viral remarks tagging him as a “fixed” or “undeserving” winner. Gaurav, staying true to the calm demeanor that won him the show, explained that his goal was never to impress his housemates, but rather the audience watching at home.
“I didn’t respond to Farrhana during the show because I’m not someone who answers with words. My actions speak more. My goal wasn’t to get a tick mark in the register of those 15 people in the house… it was to make a place in the hearts of the 150 crore viewers outside.”

Self-Competition Over Rivalry
Gaurav noted that he has survived decades in the entertainment industry by focusing on his own growth rather than the noise around him. He added that even during the final moments on the stage, he showed sportsmanship by wishing Farrhana the best.
- The Verdict: Gaurav noted that if he “did nothing” and still won, it reflects more on the runner-up’s failure to connect than his own lack of effort.
- The Philosophy: “I focus only on myself and compete with myself. Farrhana has her own thought process, and I honestly don’t care about that. Mujhe dhele bhar ka fark nahi padta (I don’t care one bit).”
The Road to the Trophy
While critics labeled him a “silent observer” or “safe player,” his journey was marked by strategic patience and emotional intelligence.
- Key Alliances: Gaurav maintained strong bonds with Pranit More, Mridul Tiwari, Abhishek Bajaj, and Ashnoor Kaur.
- Ticket to Finale: He secured his spot as the first finalist by winning a high-pressure physical endurance task.
- The Prizes: Along with the coveted trophy, Gaurav took home a ₹50 lakh cash prize and a brand new car.
The “Superstar of TV” Gets a Bollywood Promise
Host Salman Khan served as a major pillar of support for Gaurav during the season. On the final Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman slammed housemates who called Gaurav “fake,” asserting that no one can maintain a character for 100 days. Khan went as far as to call Gaurav the “Superstar of TV” and publicly promised to work with him on a future film project soon.
