BLACKPINK Announces ‘Deadline’ World Tour: Fans Rejoice — But Demand A Comeback Album
K-pop supergroup BLACKPINK is officially entering its ‘Deadline’ era — and it’s about to be global.
May 22, 2025: Following the massive success of their Born Pink world tour, BLACKPINK is now gearing up for their next monumental global takeover. Titled ‘Deadline’, the upcoming world tour was confirmed by YG Entertainment last week, and the official 16-city itinerary has now been revealed. The tour kicks off on July 5 in Goyang, South Korea, and will conclude in Hong Kong on January 25, 2026.
With the announcement, fans flooded social media expressing excitement — but also frustration. While there’s palpable thrill around seeing Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo back on stage together, BLINKs have reignited demands for a long-overdue group comeback album.

The group’s last studio album, Born Pink, dropped in 2022, and since then, solo projects have taken center stage — with Jennie making waves in Hollywood, Lisa dominating charts globally, and Rosé continuing to charm with her vocals. Still, fans argue that the group deserves a fresh musical chapter together.
Despite the criticism, there’s no denying the sheer scale and hype surrounding the Deadline tour. With BLACKPINK returning to stages worldwide, expectations are sky-high — not just for performances, but for a potential new era of music.
So, is BLACKPINK’s Deadline a countdown to something bigger? BLINKs can only hope.
