
Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick Reunite for Thrilling Sequel In 'Another Simple Favor' Trailer, Take A Look!
April 15, 2025: Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick are back in the much-awaited black comedy Another Simple Favor, and the newly unveiled trailer has got fans on the edge of their seats. The trailer teases a thrilling ride filled with twists, murder, and betrayal, this time set against the stunning backdrop of Capri, Italy.
The film sees Stephanie Smothers (played by Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) reunite for Emily’s lavish wedding to a wealthy Italian businessman. However, what should have been a glamorous celebration quickly turns into a dangerous web of deceit as the frenemies find themselves caught up in a murder mystery. The official synopsis hints that the wedding will be anything but simple, with more unexpected turns than the picturesque roads of Capri.
Directed by Paul Feig, Another Simple Favor is the follow-up to the 2018 hit A Simple Favor. The film made its premiere at the South by Southwest Festival on March 7, 2025, and is scheduled to hit Amazon Prime Video on May 1.
Returning to the cast are Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, and Bashir Salahuddin, who reprise their roles from the original film. They are joined by new faces, including Elizabeth Perkins, Michele Morrone, Alex Newell, and Allison Janney, adding further depth to the intriguing narrative.
