Blake Lively’s latest red carpet appearance didn’t go quite as planned. The Gossip Girl alum, 37, was roasted online after eagle-eyed fans noticed a wardrobe mishap while she was attending the New York City premiere of her new movie, Another Simple Favor, over the weekend.
Stepping out in a stunning blue gown with intricate cutouts at the Jazz at Lincoln Center, Lively looked picture-perfect from a distance. However, closer inspection revealed body makeup stains under her arms, where her spray tan had rubbed off onto the fabric.
“The body makeup all over her dress is sending me,” one user commented on Instagram, while another wrote, “Gross, you can see her spray tan on her dress. Under the armpit.”
Critics quickly pointed out the irony, referencing Lively’s recent controversy involving her co-star Justin Baldoni, where she was accused of mocking his appearance amid their ongoing legal feud.
Still, not all fans were critical. Many praised Lively’s overall look, with comments like, “She is perfection it’s unreal 😍” and “Whoever is dressing her deserves an award. She has slayed every red carpet!”
At the premiere, Blake Lively was seen alongside her husband of 13 years, Ryan Reynolds, showing a united front as she continues promoting Another Simple Favor with co-star Anna Kendrick.
The event comes as Lively remains embroiled in a legal battle with Baldoni, who has sued her and others for defamation and extortion over sexual harassment allegations tied to the filming of It Ends With Us. The case is expected to go to trial in 2026.
