“Bollywood Is So Screwed”: Babil Khan Cries, Slams Industry and Celebs in Deleted Video, Watch!

May 4, 2025: Babil Khan, actor and son of the late Irrfan Khan, has sparked widespread concern after posting and later deleting a series of emotional videos on Instagram Stories, in which he called out several Bollywood personalities and condemned the film industry.

The videos, now circulating on Reddit, show a visibly emotional and distressed Babil as he names actors like Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Adarsh Gourav, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Raghav Juyal, and even singer Arijit Singh.

In the clip, Babil, seen crying and slurring his words, said,

“I just want you guys to know that there are people like Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav and Arijit Singh… Bollywood is so f*****. Bollywood is so screwed.”

In another video, he continued,

“Bollywood is the most fakest, fakest, fakest industry that I’ve ever ever been a part of. But there are a few people who want Bollywood to be better… I have so much more to give you.”

The raw, unfiltered posts have triggered an outpouring of support and worry from fans and netizens. Many expressed alarm over Babil’s mental well-being, especially considering his ongoing struggles with grief following the death of his father, the legendary actor Irrfan Khan.

One Reddit user wrote, “All the people he named are known bullies… all in the Dharma clique. I really feel for him. I wonder what they’ve done. He seems to be really suffering.” Another added, “Did anyone read the poem he posted five days ago on Irrfan’s death anniversary? One line read ‘soon I’ll be there, with you, not without you’. Definitely shook me.”

Babil has previously spoken about his battle with mental health and the challenges he’s faced navigating the film industry as a newcomer. Despite his family legacy, fans often observe that he seems more sensitive and artistically driven, and may not fit into the inner circles of Bollywood’s elite.

Comments continued to pour in with concern:

“This is seriously concerning… something terrible must have happened for him to say all this publicly with this intensity.”
“Even being a nepo kid himself, he is outcasted by the industry clans.”

As of now, there has been no official response from Babil Khan or the celebrities mentioned in the video. Fans hope he is receiving the support he needs and call for the industry to reflect on how it treats those who don’t conform to its unwritten rules.
