Bollywood Mourns the Loss of Nari Hira: Arjun Rampal, Bipasha Basu, and Hema Malini Share Heartfelt Tributes

Bollywood is mourning the loss of Nari Hira, the veteran journalist and film producer who was a towering figure in the media industry. Arjun Rampal and Bipasha Basu were among the many celebrities who expressed their grief on social media following his passing.

On Saturday, Arjun Rampal took to Instagram to share a series of poignant photos with Nari Hira, capturing moments from their time together at various events. Accompanying the images, Arjun penned an emotional caption: “Heartbroken. A legend in publishing left us today. Dear Nari Hira, who revolutionized publishing in India from Stardust to Society. Magna publishing into an institution. Who was the heart of media, yet still managed to keep away from all the show biz. You will truly be missed my dear friend. Rest in peace. You will live on in our hearts. #RIPNariHira”

Bipasha Basu also expressed her sadness over Hira’s death. She posted a picture on her Instagram stories from an event where she stood alongside the media mogul, with a simple yet touching message: “RIP #NariHira Om Shanti.”

Veteran actress and politician Hema Malini also took to social media to share her condolences. Reflecting on her association with Hira, she wrote: “I am saddened to hear about the sudden demise of media baron Mr. Nari Hira, the founder of Magna Publishing. He has been extremely kind and supportive. He was a well-wisher and always supported young talents from the film industry. I have been featured in many cover stories of Stardust magazine and even won awards at Stardust and Society Achievers Awards. He was very fond of me, and respected me always. My sincere condolences to his family, may his soul rest in peace.”

Nari Hira, who founded Magna Publishing and was the driving force behind iconic magazines like Stardust and Society, left an indelible mark on Indian journalism and cinema. His contributions to the industry, along with his keen eye for talent, made him a beloved figure in Bollywood. His passing marks the end of an era in Indian publishing.
