Passing: Dharmendra passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the age of 89. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital earlier in the month due to breathlessness and passed away at home, just weeks shy of his 90th birthday (December 8).
Career: The veteran star, fondly known as the “He-Man of Bollywood,” had a monumental career spanning over six decades and is celebrated as one of Indian cinema’s most versatile and beloved actors.
Last Rites: A private funeral was held on November 25. It was attended by close family and prominent industry figures, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Shabana Azmi, Sanjay Dutt, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone.

The prayer meet, titled “Celebration of Life,” offers a public opportunity for admirers to mourn and honor the memory of the iconic star.
