Boney and Khushi Kapoor Pay Heartfelt Tributes to Sridevi

On the occasion of Sridevi’s 61st birth anniversary, her husband, producer Boney Kapoor, and their daughter Khushi Kapoor took to social media to remember the legendary actress with heartfelt tributes.

Khushi Kapoor shared a nostalgic moment from her childhood, posting an adorable picture on her Instagram story that featured her alongside her mother Sridevi and sister Janhvi Kapoor. The snap captured a precious moment, showcasing the close bond the family shared.

Boney Kapoor, Sridevi’s devoted husband, also paid tribute by sharing a striking portrait of the late actress, believed to be from her 2012 film English Vinglish. Accompanying the photo, he wrote a poignant message, “Happy birthday, my Jaan,” reflecting the deep affection he continues to hold for his beloved wife.

As soon as Boney shared the post, fans flooded the comments section with heartfelt messages, expressing how much they miss the actress. One user wrote, “Happy birthday hawa hawai we miss you,” while another commented, “She will always be the best.”

Sridevi, born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan in 1963, left an indelible mark on Indian cinema with iconic roles in films like Chandni, Lamhe, Mr. India, Chaalbaaz, Nagina, Sadma, and English Vinglish. Her exceptional performances extended beyond Bollywood to Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films. Her last film, Mom, earned her a posthumous National Award for Best Actress.

Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018, in Dubai, leaving a void in the hearts of millions of fans. However, her legacy continues to shine brightly in the memories of her loved ones and admirers around the world.

Meanwhile, Khushi Kapoor has recently stepped into the film industry with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, a coming-of-age musical that explores themes of friendship, love, and rebellion, set in the fictional town of Riverdale.
