February 12, 2025: Filmmaker Boney Kapoor, along with his son, actor Arjun Kapoor, recently met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to personally invite him to the upcoming Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) matches. Boney Kapoor, who owns the Bengal Tigers team in the CCL, extended the invitation ahead of the matches scheduled to take place at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on February 16.

This year’s Celebrity Cricket League promises an exciting line-up of matches, with two thrilling games set to unfold. The first match will see the Punjab De Sher team take on the Bhojpuri Dabangg Team, followed by the much-awaited face-off between Mumbai Heroes and Bengal Tigers. The CCL is widely recognized for blending entertainment with sports, bringing together actors from various Indian film industries for a unique and fun experience for fans.

While Boney Kapoor is preparing for the CCL action, Arjun Kapoor is also in the limelight with his upcoming film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The film, which stars Arjun alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet, is set to hit theatres on February 21. The trailer of the film, which was unveiled earlier this month, showcases a complex and humorous situation as Arjun’s character, Ankur, navigates life after discovering that his ex-wife, played by Bhumi Pednekar, has lost her memory of the last 5-6 years. This creates a hilarious mess in Ankur’s life as he tries to keep his new relationship with Antara (played by Rakul Preet) a secret.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Mere Husband Ki Biwi also features Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, Shakti Kapoor, and others. The movie is presented by Vashu Bhagnani & Puja Films and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh.
