BTS’ Jung Kook to Release New Documentary ‘I Am Still’ in Theatres Worldwide

BTS’ Jung Kook is set to captivate fans with a new documentary titled “Jung Kook: I Am Still,” set to premiere in theatres worldwide on September 18. The film, as reported by Variety, chronicles the K-pop star’s eight-month journey leading up to his highly anticipated solo debut.

Directed by Junsoo Park, who is known for his work on previous BTS documentaries, “Jung Kook: I Am Still” offers a unique, intimate glimpse into the life of one of the world’s biggest music icons. The documentary begins around the time Jung Kook released his hit single “Seven,” featuring American rapper Latto, and continues through the creation of his first solo album, “Golden.”

According to a press release from Big Hit Music, BTS’ South Korean record label, the documentary features exclusive, never-before-seen footage and interviews that provide an in-depth look at Jung Kook’s creative process, work ethic, and the challenges he faced on his journey to solo stardom. It also includes electrifying live performances that showcase the pinnacle of Jung Kook’s artistry, solidifying his status as a global pop phenomenon.

Jung Kook: I Am Still will be distributed by Trafalgar Releasing, with limited screenings planned in over 120 countries and regions. Marc Allenby, CEO of Trafalgar Releasing, expressed excitement about the project, stating, “Bringing Jung Kook’s story to the big screen is a testament to the power of shared experiences, and we can’t wait for fans to come together and enjoy this film with fellow ARMY.”

The documentary is set to be a special event for BTS fans, offering a rare look at the personal and professional journey of Jung Kook as he embarks on his solo career.
