January 15, 2025: K-pop sensation J-Hope, a member of the globally renowned group BTS, has officially announced his first solo world tour, Hope on the Stage. This marks a significant milestone in his career as he embarks on his first solo venture, covering 15 cities across the globe, including six stops in North America.
The tour will commence with three nights in Seoul before J-Hope heads to the United States. He will kick off the North American leg on March 13 with two nights at New York's Barclays Center, and then perform in Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, and Oakland, concluding the North American segment at LA's BMO Stadium. The Los Angeles performance is particularly historic, as it will be the first time a Korean solo artist headlines a U.S. stadium, marking a groundbreaking achievement for J-Hope.
After the North American leg, the tour will continue through Asia, with stops in the Philippines, Singapore, and more cities yet to be announced. Fans can also look forward to live-streamed performances from the Seoul leg on the Weverse platform, although it's still unclear if other cities will have similar streaming options.
This tour is a pivotal moment in the members' post-BTS group activities, as the members resume their careers after completing their mandatory military service. J-Hope is the second BTS member to return after his service, following Jin's return in June 2024. Fans are eagerly awaiting the group's reunion once all members have completed their service.
Pre-sale tickets for Hope on the Stage will be available for official ARMY fan club members on January 22, with general sales opening on January 23. The ticket sales for the Los Angeles concert will be announced at a later time due to ongoing wildfires in the area.
