Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx Film ‘Back In Action’ Teaser Trailer Out Now

November 15, 2024: The upcoming Netflix film Back in Action is shaping up to be an exciting reunion for fans of Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz. Directed by Seth Gordon (known for Horrible Bosses), this action-comedy marks Diaz’s return to the big screen after nearly a decade-long hiatus since her last role in 2014’s Annie.

In Back in Action, Diaz and Foxx play Emily and Matt, a married couple who are thrust back into the high-stakes world of espionage after their identities as former CIA spies are exposed.

The film features a star-studded cast, including Glenn Close, Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, and McKenna Roberts, among others. The plot promises to deliver a mix of action, comedy, and thrills as the couple navigates their return to the spy game while juggling their family life. The movie was announced in June 2022, with filming taking place later that year, though production was briefly interrupted due to Foxx’s medical emergency in April 2023. He has since made a full recovery and returned to set in early 2024.

Back in Action will be available for streaming on Netflix starting January 17, 2024, and fans can expect plenty of excitement as the beloved duo of Foxx and Diaz team up once again. This marks their third onscreen collaboration, following Any Given Sunday (1999) and Annie (2014).
