June 18, 2025: Jeremy Allen White is set to ignite the big screen as Bruce Springsteen in Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, a new biopic capturing the emotional heart of the music legend’s life.
Released by 20th Century Studios, the first trailer—dropped June 18—shows White embodying Springsteen during the making of his deeply personal and haunting sixth album, Nebraska. The film promises a mix of raw recording sessions, industry pressure, and emotional introspection.

The trailer opens with Springsteen recording stripped-down tracks with his guitar tech (played by Paul Walter Hauser), while his manager Jon Landau (Jeremy Strong) fights to convince Columbia Records to release the lo-fi album. A standout moment features White energetically performing Springsteen’s iconic “Born to Run,” showcasing the artist’s on-stage charisma and inner fire.
According to the official synopsis, the movie “chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 Nebraska album when he was a young musician on the cusp of global superstardom, struggling to reconcile the pressures of success with the ghosts of his past.”
Deliver Me From Nowhere is directed and written by Scott Cooper, adapted from Warren Zanes’ book of the same name. The film also stars Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, Gaby Hoffman, Marc Maron, and David Krumholtz.
Springsteen himself visited the set multiple times in late 2024 and early 2025, even sharing a heartfelt hug with White and posing for photos with Matthew Anthony Pellicano, who portrays a young Bruce in the movie.
Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere hits theaters on October 24.
