June 15, 2025: Renowned author and academic Dr Krishna Saksena launched her latest book Flowers Bloom at a heartfelt event in New Delhi today. The book was officially released by eminent homeopath and Padma Shri awardee Dr Kalyan Banerjee, in the presence of prominent literary and academic personalities.
Flowers Bloom is a collection of thoughtful short stories that delve into Indian culture, spiritual values, and the emotional fabric of everyday life. Dr Banerjee described the book as “timeless,” praising its emotional depth and universal relevance.
Symbolic of beauty and quiet generosity, the title Flowers Bloom captures the spirit of Dr Saksena’s work. A trailblazer in Indian academia, she was the first woman in Uttar Pradesh to earn a PhD and has authored several acclaimed titles like The Gita As I Understand, Take a U Turn, and Tales My Wrinkles Tell.
