June 19, 2025: Rising country singer Tori Rose is making waves with her deeply personal new single, “Back Home,” a track that explores the complicated emotions of leaving behind the place you grew up. At just 20 years old, Rose is already capturing hearts with her honest lyrics and soulful sound — and this song is no exception.

“I grew up in a very small town, and while I’ll always call it home, I knew I had to leave to truly grow,” says Rose, who originally hails from Pennsylvania and later moved to Florida. Her latest release speaks to that familiar feeling of loving your roots — but also needing to escape them. “It’s not all love or all hate. ‘Back Home’ is about that bittersweet in-between.”

Rose penned the song solo, and teamed up with producer Jimmy Ritchey to bring it to life. “Tori is an impeccable singer and songwriter,” Ritchey says, comparing her early potential to a young Sam Hunt. Rose adds, “Jimmy just gets me — he knows exactly how I want my songs to sound.”
Now based in Nashville, Tori is navigating the pressures of the music industry while staying grounded in her authenticity. “The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to focus on myself and not compare my journey to others,” she shares. “I just want people to feel something — anything — when they listen to my music.”
Looking ahead, she dreams of collaborations with artists like Gretchen Wilson, Carrie Underwood, and Ella Langley, and hopes to release a full album soon. For now, “Back Home” marks a bold and honest step forward for a young artist unafraid to sing her truth.
