Cardi B and NFL star Stefon Diggs are officially out in the open.

The Grammy-winning rapper, 32, and the New England Patriots wide receiver, 31, made their first public appearance together on Monday, May 12, at Madison Square Garden, where they held hands while arriving for Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals between the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics.

Looking radiant in a chic all-black mini skirt set and flowing jet-black hair, Cardi smiled as she walked into the arena beside Diggs, who wore a casual denim short set. The pair sat courtside next to music icon Mary J. Blige and watched the Knicks beat the Celtics 121-113.

Rumors of a romance between Cardi and Diggs first sparked in October 2024 and gained steam after they were seen together on Valentine’s Day, according to E! News and TMZ. Though they previously attended events separately, Monday night marked their first joint arrival — signaling a public confirmation of their relationship.

Cardi B was previously married to Migos rapper Offset, 33. The pair, who share three children — Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and a daughter born in September 2024 — had an on-and-off relationship before Cardi filed for divorce again in mid-2024.

Offset appeared to acknowledge the budding romance in April 2025 after viral footage showed Cardi dancing with Diggs at a NYC nightclub. “Offset punching air,” a fan commented on DJ Akademiks’ post, to which the rapper replied, “I’m happy for her !!”

Both Cardi and Diggs attended the 2025 Met Gala but opted not to walk the red carpet together. Cardi stunned in a green Burberry suit by Daniel Lee with matching green contacts, while Diggs wore a dramatic all-black suit with fur detailing and red shoes.

With their latest appearance, it seems the duo is ready to take their romance off the sidelines and into the spotlight.
