June 09, 2025: Cardi B is finally speaking out about the buzz surrounding her unreleased track “Outside,” which recently exploded online amid rumors it was aimed at her estranged husband, Offset. But fans hoping for a diss anthem might want to dial it down — the rapper has confirmed she’s shelving the viral hit.

In a candid Instagram Live, Cardi B said, “I don’t know if I really wanna put that song out, to be honest with you… I’m really, really grateful for all the love. It was never the plan.”

Instead of dropping “Outside” or any single at all, Cardi revealed she wants to release her entire sophomore album at once. “I just wanna put out my album all at the same time,” she added, while teasing that a music video is on the way — just not for “Outside.”

Speculation around the track intensified after Cardi went public with NFL star Stefon Diggs last month, prompting Offset to post cryptic jabs online, including, “Good roll out n PR. Today I pass,” on X (formerly Twitter). The tension escalated after Diggs was seen rocking matching braids with Cardi and Offset’s son, Wave — a move Offset responded to with alarming posts about “trolling” involving his child.

Meanwhile, Cardi B is facing her own roadblocks. She admitted during her live session that she’s still waiting on several unfinished features for the upcoming album. “I really need these f**ing features… Y’all don’t want to miss this opportunity,”* she said, hinting at frustration but staying respectful toward her collaborators.

Fans may not get “Outside,” but they can expect a full-bodied album rollout soon — and maybe more unfiltered updates straight from Cardi herself.
