The event happened during a record-breaking run at the box office for Mahavatar Narsimha, an animated mythological movie by Kleem Productions and Hombale Films. The movie has allegedly made ₹81.25 crore in just 10 days since it was out on July 25th, making it a huge smash even though it had to compete with other new releases.

After the movie did well, Hombale Films and Kleem Productions announced a ten-year plan for an animated series that will tell the story of Lord Vishnu’s 10 holy incarnations. The following installment, Mahavatar Parshuram, will come out in 2027.
