The film, directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Anil Roongta under Roongta Entertainment, features Ajay Devgn in a central action-packed role.
The trailer, which was recently unveiled on Instagram, showcases Ajay in intense action sequences, fueling excitement among fans.
The movie also stars Sameera Reddy, Bhumika Chawla, and Rahul Dev in pivotal roles, and marks the fourth collaboration between Ajay and director Anees Bazmee, following successful films like Deewangee, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, and Hulchul. The release of Naam comes on the heels of Ajay’s recent blockbuster Singham Again, which had an impressive opening on Diwali, grossing ₹43.70 crore on its first day, contributing to a combined ₹80.30 crore box office collection along with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
In addition to Naam, Ajay is also set to star in the period drama Azaad, which portrays a poignant tale of a family’s bond with their horse set in pre-independence India. The film introduces his nephew, Aaman Devgan, and Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, in key roles, with Ajay playing a skilled horse rider who faces off against the English army after his horse goes missing. The teaser also hints at the emotional journey of Aaman’s character as he sets out to find the lost horse.
