The trailer for Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahani, starring Sunny Singh, Aditya Seal, and Pranutan Bahl, has been unveiled, with the makers sharing it on Instagram.

The romantic comedy explores the journey of Amar (played by Sunny Singh), a Punjabi man struggling to express his sexuality within the confines of societal expectations. Seeking freedom, he embarks on a journey to London, where he meets Prem (played by Aditya Seal) and unexpectedly falls in love. However, upon returning to his family in India, Amar faces the challenge of an arranged marriage and family misunderstandings.

Sunny Singh, who plays Amar, described his character as a sweet, charming man emotionally connected to his family but reluctant to disclose his sexuality. He praised the film’s portrayal of same-sex relationships as aesthetically pleasing and expressed gratitude for the support of his co-stars and director.

Aditya Seal, playing Prem, emphasized his character’s emotional journey and his on-screen chemistry with Sunny Singh, noting that playing Prem was a rewarding challenge. He also expressed delight at the camaraderie shared with his co-stars during the shoot.

Pranutan Bahl, who portrays Mandy, described her role as an antagonist with a grey side, showcasing a new facet of her acting in this rom-com. The film is set to stream exclusively on JioCinema from October 4, 2024.
