David Corenswet stars as Clark Kent/Superman, with Rachel Brosnahan playing Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and a star-studded ensemble cast including Edi Gathegi, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Anthony Carrigan, and Wendell Pierce, among others.

The trailer opens with a battered and bruised Superman in a desolate, frozen landscape, injured and seemingly defeated. Gunn responded thoughtfully, saying, “I think that’s what ‘Take me home’ is all about.” He continued, explaining how the film begins with a “battered vision” of Superman, mirroring the state of the world today.
