Chhaava Advance Box Office Collection Day 1: Vicky Kaushal’s Historical Epic Targets ₹25 Crore Opening
February 14, 2025: Chhaava’s Box Office Run Begins With A Bang, Targets ₹25 Crore Opening Day
Vicky Kaushal’s highly anticipated historical drama, Chhaava, is off to an explosive start at the box office with strong advance bookings ahead of its February 14 release. With over ₹13.78 crore already secured in pre-sales, the film is on track to open in the ₹23-25 crore range, making it one of the biggest historical film debuts ever.

According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, the film has sold a staggering 4.87 lakh tickets across 14,063 shows nationwide, indicating massive audience interest, especially in Maharashtra, which has emerged as the driving force behind its pre-release success.
The film’s strong start is largely fueled by Maharashtra, where its regional and historical appeal has led to significant demand. However, nationwide interest is moderate, with only Delhi showing notable pre-sales outside Maharashtra.
Despite its impressive advance numbers, Chhaava is up against stiff competition from Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World, which also releases on February 14. While Chhaava has taken the lead in pre-bookings, its ability to sustain momentum beyond the opening weekend will depend on word-of-mouth and critical reception.
Trade analysts suggest that if positive audience feedback follows its release, Chhaava could dominate Maharashtra and expand its success to other states. However, if it fails to resonate with pan-India audiences, its long-term box office prospects could be challenging.
With record-breaking pre-sales and a promising start, all eyes are now on Chhaava’s first-day collections to see if it can truly cement itself as one of the biggest historical hits of the year.
