Chhaava Beats Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan to Become 3rd Highest-Grossing Hindi Film of All Time!
March 27, 2025: Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava is rewriting history at the Hindi box office! Even after 40 days in cinemas, the period drama continues to rake in big numbers and has now overtaken Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan to become the third highest-grossing Hindi film ever.
With Salman Khan’s Sikandar arriving this Sunday, Chhaava has just a few days left in its box office journey before competition intensifies. But it made the most of its window, delivering one milestone after another.
Chhaava (Hindi) now stands at ₹584.52 crore, slightly edging past Jawan’s ₹584 crore to claim the third spot on the all-time highest-grossing Hindi films list.
During its sixth weekend, Chhaava pulled in an impressive ₹10.05 crore. While it couldn’t beat Stree 2’s sixth-weekend haul of ₹14.32 crore, it surpassed Pushpa 2 (₹6 crore) to claim the second-best sixth weekend in Hindi box office history.
