Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s historical drama continues its dream run at the box office, breaking multiple records and dominating in its sixth week.

Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s epic period film Chhaava is now officially the biggest Hindi film of 2025, continuing to draw audiences deep into its sixth week. On Day 37 (sixth Saturday), the film added another ₹3.70 crore to its domestic total, bringing the India net box office to ₹578.65 crore. The film’s worldwide collection now stands at a staggering ₹775.75 crore, making it the highest grosser of the year so far.
🔥 Still Going Strong in Week 6
Despite entering its sixth weekend, Chhaava maintained a solid grip on the box office with an overall Hindi occupancy of 14.90% across 2477 shows. Interestingly, the film is performing exceptionally well in metro cities:
- Chennai: 75% occupancy (5 shows)
- Hyderabad: 32.5% (54 shows)
- Bengaluru: 20.5% (144 shows)
- Pune: 20.25% (307 shows)
- Mumbai: 17.25% (520 shows)
- Delhi-NCR: 13.75% (572 shows)

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Chhaava features a powerful ensemble cast including Ashutosh Rana, Akshaye Khanna, Vikneet Kumar Singh, and Divya Dutta. The Hindi version of the film released in theatres on February 14, followed by a Telugu dubbed version on March 7.

Chhaava has broken several records already, including becoming the first Hindi film to sell over 12 million tickets on BookMyShow, and outperforming recent biggies like Pushpa 2 and Stree 2 in early metrics.
