Chhaava: A Historical Spectacle That Resonates with Audiences

Based on Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel, Chhaava (Lion’s Cub), the film brings to light the lesser-known yet heroic legacy of Sambhaji Maharaj. Often overshadowed by his father Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Sambhaji’s reign (nine years on the Maratha throne) was marked by courage, strategic warfare, and resilience against the Mughals. The film also highlights his tragic betrayal and brutal execution at the hands of Aurangzeb (played by Akshaye Khanna).

What’s Next for Chhaava?

With its unstoppable momentum, Chhaava is now eyeing the ₹550 crore milestone, cementing its place among Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters of all time.

Will it continue its dream run and challenge the all-time box office records? Stay tuned for more updates!
