After a 43-day golden run, Chhaava has entered the ₹600 crore club but will fall short of Stree 2’s ₹627.50 crore record due to screen crunch from Sikandar release.
Mumbai, March 29 – Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has achieved a historic feat by entering the ₹600 crore club at the Indian box office. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the magnum opus completed a glorious 43-day run and now stands with a staggering ₹603.11 crore net collection in India.

The Hindi version alone contributed ₹588.10 crore, while the Telugu dubbed version added ₹15.01 crore to its total. This marks Chhaava as only the third Bollywood film ever to cross ₹600 crore in India, following Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2.
However, despite its phenomenal journey, Chhaava is unlikely to surpass Stree 2’s lifetime collection of ₹627.50 crore. With only ₹24.39 crore separating the two, the momentum of Chhaava has considerably slowed, and Salman Khan’s Sikandar, releasing March 30, will take over most of the screen space across India.
This effectively means Chhaava will conclude its run as the third highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time in India.
