
'Chhichhore' Turns 5: Varun Sharma remembers "Kammo" Sushant Singh Rajput
Actor Varun Sharma recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of the beloved film Chhichhore on Instagram, reminiscing about the special moments shared with the cast, including the late Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the character Anni, affectionately referred to as “Kammo” by Varun’s character.
In his post, Varun shared behind-the-scenes moments featuring himself, Sushant, Shraddha Kapoor, and other members of the “Chhichhore” gang, expressing how close the film is to all their hearts. He wrote, “Kammo. Celebrating Chhichhore. A Film so special and so close to all of us. #5yearsofchhichhore.”
Fans quickly responded to Varun’s post, with many expressing their admiration for Sushant. One user commented on Sushant’s enduring legacy and inspiration, while another simply stated, “Miss you, Sushant sir.”
Chhichhore, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is a nostalgic comedy-drama that explores themes of friendship and college life. It follows the story of Anni and his college friends, highlighting their journey from college days to adulthood and how they reconnect years later after a tragic incident. The film received widespread acclaim and was Sushant’s last theatrical release before his untimely passing on June 14, 2020. Alongside Sushant and Varun, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and Naveen Polishetty.
