Chitrangda Singh on Her Special Cameo in ‘Khel Khel Mein’: “Thrilled to Team Up with Akshay Again”

Chitrangda Singh has delighted fans with her special cameo in the multi-starrer ‘Khel Khel Mein,’ which hit theaters on Thursday. The film, directed by Mudassar Aziz, has been performing well at the box office, attracting audiences with its star-studded cast, including Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, and Pragya Jaiswal in the lead roles.

Chitrangda’s appearance in the film sparked memories of her previous collaboration with Akshay Kumar in ‘Desi Boyz,’ a film where their on-screen chemistry was widely appreciated.

Reflecting on her role in ‘Khel Khel Mein,’ Chitrangda shared, “It is always amazing to team up with Akshay. Khel Khel Mein was such an amazing experience working with him after so many years. It was thrilling to see fans going back to that ‘Desi Boyz’ reference. Even we remembered those days, and also the first time I met him.”

She expressed her gratitude for the positive reception of her cameo, saying, “I feel so blessed to have received so much love for an appearance I made in the film. A little part has cast a huge shadow, and it’s humbling to see the fans reacting so beautifully to it.”

‘Khel Khel Mein,’ which is currently competing at the box office with ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Vedaa,’ opened with a respectable Rs 5.05 crore nett on Thursday. The film, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha, and Ajay Rai, aims to redefine the comedy-drama genre.

Chitrangda’s brief but impactful appearance adds a nostalgic touch to the film, especially for fans who fondly remember her earlier work with Akshay Kumar.
