Chris Hemsworth Confirms ‘Extraction 3’ Is In The Works

August 11, 2025: Fans of the action-packed Extraction series should be happy to hear that Chris Hemsworth, the hero of the show, has announced that a third movie is in the works.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor said that his character, the mercenary Tyler Rake, is “getting restless,” and that the creative team is working on concepts for a new movie.

“The goal is definitely to make another one.” Hemsworth told fans that the story of Tyler Rake is far from ended. “I don’t know when, but yeah, it’ll be coming,” he added. People liked the first two movies because of their intense action scenes. The third movie is set to elevate the stakes even higher.

In the meantime, Hemsworth has been working on another project that tests his physical and mental boundaries. Three new episodes of his popular docuseries, Limitless: Live Better Now, are coming out. Starting August 15, you may view the series on Disney+/Hulu. It will debut on National Geographic on August 25. The documentary follows Hemsworth as he takes on extreme challenges.
