Aasif Sheikh and Ravi Kishan recall near-fatal accident during shoot
January 18, 2026: The trailer launch of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! – Fun on the Run in Mumbai took an unexpected turn when actors Aasif Sheikh and Ravi Kishan revealed a shocking on-set incident that nearly turned tragic. What was meant to be a light-hearted promotional event suddenly became intense as the duo shared how a massive tree narrowly missed them during filming, offering fans a glimpse into the real dangers sometimes hidden behind comedy and entertainment.
Recounting the incident, Aasif Sheikh said the accident occurred on the very first day at a new shooting location. “Ravi and I were sitting together, having coffee, when suddenly a 12–13 feet long tree fell right between us. Had it fallen on either of us, hamari chutney ban jaati,” he said, describing the moment as both terrifying and surreal. Ravi Kishan added that the tree weighed nearly 500 kilos and fell with a loud crash, leaving him with a bruised shoulder.
Producer Sanjay Kohli recalled that the unit was left stunned for nearly half an hour after the incident. He said Ravi received immediate medical attention but returned to the set within 30 minutes, insisting on resuming the shoot. Adding to the challenges during production, Aasif Sheikh also suffered a health scare in March when he collapsed on set in Dehradun due to severe sciatic pain after a month-long continuous shooting schedule.
