Coldplay India Concert , Deets Inside!

Coldplay has thrilled fans across India by announcing their return with the ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’, scheduled for January 18 and 19, 2025 at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Mumbai. This marks their first performance in India since their unforgettable 2016 Global Citizen Festival concert in the same city.

The announcement has generated immense excitement, with BookMyShow Live highlighting it as the moment fans have long awaited.

The Mumbai concerts will feature Coldplay’s latest hits from their Music of the Spheres album, including tracks like ‘We Pray’ and ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove’, alongside beloved classics such as ‘Yellow’, ‘Fix You’, and ‘Viva La Vida’. Fans can expect a visually stunning experience, complete with lasers, fireworks, and LED displays.

Tickets for the Mumbai shows will go on sale starting September 22, 2024, at 12 PM IST on BookMyShow. Given Coldplay’s immense popularity, fans are advised to act quickly. Additionally, the band will offer ‘Infinity Tickets’, priced at approximately Rs 2000, starting November 22, 2024, for a more affordable concert experience.

The tour comes after Coldplay’s successful 2024 European shows and is part of a global journey that includes stops in Abu Dhabi, Seoul, and Hong Kong. As part of their effort toward sustainability, Coldplay’s upcoming album ‘Moon Music’ (set for release on October 4, 2024) will feature vinyl made from 100% recycled plastic.

Lead vocalist Chris Martin reflected on the album’s message, saying it highlights the importance of love in addressing global challenges. Coldplay, founded in 1997, remains one of the world’s most iconic bands, known for hits like ‘A Sky Full of Stars’, ‘Don’t Panic’, and ‘In My Place’.
