Coldplay’s Ahmedabad Show To Be Live Streamed On This OTT Platform, Deets Inside

January 17, 2025: If you missed out on securing tickets for Coldplay’s much-anticipated India concert, there’s still great news for you! The British rock band’s concert in Ahmedabad on January 26 will be streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar, so fans across the country can enjoy the performance from the comfort of their homes.

In an announcement shared by the streaming platform, Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin expressed his excitement: “Namaste to all our friends in India. We’re thrilled to share that on the 26th of January, our show from Ahmedabad will be streaming live on Disney+ Hotstar, so you can watch it from anywhere in India. We hope you’ll join us — we’re so excited to visit your beautiful country. Sending lots of love!”

Sanjog Gupta, CEO of JioStar – Sports, also spoke about the collaboration, stating that the partnership is part of Disney+ Hotstar’s effort to bring iconic cultural experiences to a wider audience, breaking barriers to make premium entertainment accessible to all viewers.

Meanwhile, Coldplay’s Chris Martin was spotted in Mumbai on Thursday evening with partner Dakota Johnson, taking in the sights of the city. The band posted a picture of Chris enjoying the evening at Marine Drive, where he wore a beige t-shirt and black track pants. The caption read, “We are so happy and grateful to be here in India.”

As part of their ‘Music of the Spheres’ tour, Coldplay will perform in Mumbai at DY Patil Sports Stadium on January 18, 19, and 21, with supporting acts by Shone, Elyanna, and Jasleen Royal. They will then head to Ahmedabad, where they’ll perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26.

After their India tour, Coldplay will head to Hong Kong in April and perform in South Korea as well. The band, consisting of Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and manager Phil Harvey, is set to make their India concerts a memorable event for all.
