
'Conclave', 'Emilia Perez' Lead The Race At BAFTA 2025 Film Award Nominations
January 16, 2025: The nominations for the BAFTA 2025 awards were revealed on Wednesday, and as expected, two films have emerged as the frontrunners. “Conclave” and “Emilia Perez” received the most nominations, with “Conclave” leading the pack with 12 nominations, including Best Film, Director (Edward Berger), and Leading Actor (Ralph Fiennes). Meanwhile, “Emilia Perez”, a Spanish-language musical-thriller directed by Jacques Audiard, earned 11 nominations, including Best Film, Director, Leading Actress (Karla Sofia Gascon), and Supporting Actress (Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldana).
The BAFTA 2025 awards ceremony will take place on February 16, 2025, at London’s Royal Festival Hall, and will be hosted by David Tennant. It will be streamed live and exclusively in India on Lionsgate Play.
