Confirmed! Bigg Boss 19 Is Coming Back! Salman Khan to Host the New Season, Deets Inside
May 22, 2025: After months of speculation and uncertainty, Bigg Boss fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Despite earlier reports hinting at cancellation due to internal disputes and sponsor fallout, Bigg Boss Season 19 is officially happening, according to a report.

The controversial reality show, long hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is reportedly set to return to television screens with a brand new season. The show will now be produced by Endemol Shine India, moving away from Banijay Asia, the production house previously linked with the series.
Sources suggest that Salman Khan is confirmed to return as host, continuing his iconic association with the franchise since 2010. The actor is expected to shoot the first promotional teaser by the end of June, with the new season likely to premiere in July 2025.
Earlier this year, Bigg Boss 19 made headlines for all the wrong reasons. Reports of a fallout between Colors TV and the production house sparked rumours that the show might shift to another network, possibly Sony TV. Another major concern was the alleged exit of the show’s biggest sponsor, which cast doubts on funding and feasibility.
However, with Endemol Shine India stepping in as producer and Salman Khan locked in as host, those fears appear to have been quelled—although an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited.
Having hosted the show since its fourth season, Salman Khan has become the face of Bigg Boss. His unique hosting style, mix of charisma and authority, and massive fan following have played a crucial role in the show’s enduring success over the last decade.
With the return of Salman and a new production team at the helm, fans can expect a refreshed format while retaining the drama, entertainment, and unpredictability that Bigg Boss is known for.
