Coolie Day 1 Worldwide Box Office: Rajinikanth Powers Film To ₹150 Crore Start, Beats War 2, Pathaan, Animal

Rajinikanth’s Coolie breaks box office records with a historic worldwide opening. The superstar has once again shown that he is the best star in the world. His new movie, Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, had a huge opening day at the global box office, breaking a number of records. Coolie has had one of the best openings for an Indian film ever, thanks to its excellent performance at home and record-breaking success in foreign markets.

Day 1 Collections Set New Records
Sacnilk’s first estimations say that Coolie made a net collection of ₹65 crore in India on its first day. This is the second-best opening for a Tamil film in India, behind Vijay’s Leo (₹66 crore) and before Rajinikanth’s 2.0 (₹60 crore). The movie is thought to have made about ₹80 crore in India.

But it’s the worldwide collection that has really made the movie a classic. Sun Pictures, the company that made the movie, said that Coolie made an amazing ₹151 crore over the world on its first day. This amount makes it the Tamil film with the largest opening ever, breaking Leo’s record of ₹142.5 crore.

Records from Other Countries Tumble Coolie has done incredibly well in overseas markets, breaking all-time records for a Tamil film in several places:

$3.04 million in North America

UK: £124,000

Australia: $535,000

This amazing international start puts Coolie among the top 10 Indian films with the largest openings of all time. It did better than the Day 1 collections of big hits like Jawan (₹126 crore), Animal (₹116 crore), and Pathaan (₹104 crore).

The movie did far better than the opening of Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR’s War 2, which made about ₹90–95 crore over the world.

The success is due to the star-studded cast.
Rajinikanth’s famous presence and a strong supporting cast are two reasons why the movie did well. People think that the movie did well because it had Nagarjuna and Upendra in it, as well as a cameo by Aamir Khan. This was especially true for the Telugu and Hindi-dubbed versions.

The action thriller was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and stars Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj. The audience turnout has not changed, even if critics have given it mixed reviews.

The excellent opening day sets Coolie up for a huge opening weekend, with estimates saying it might make more than ₹300 crore by Sunday. If the film keeps going at this pace, it could break the record for the highest-grossing Tamil film ever, which is now held by 2.0, which made ₹691 crore globally.
